Merry Christmas

This is Eloise, rocking out at her first ever Wiggles concert. It was a fantastic show and Eloise was lucky enough to meet Murray (the Red Wiggle) in person. I have to admit to being star struck during the encounter... how life has changed!
I'm signing off for the year now, so wishing you all a very merry Christmas and wonderful wishes for the new year. My Etsy store will be closed until 3 January, and any purchases made here will be posted on 3 January 2010.

A Handmade Christmas

Yesterday we celebrated Christmas with my husband's family. Eloise was lucky enough to receive this gorgeous Vintage Chenille 'Holly' the Scottie Dog from her Aunty Kristy and Uncle Kieran who shopped up a storm at the Handmade Market in Canberra. Eloise gave Holly a lovely introduction to our cats Bella and Josie this morning, so it looks like she's become an official member of the family!

Seven more sleeps...

With markets, day care, dancing class and swimming lessons finished for the year, there are seven more sleeps until Santa arrives - we've been counting - so before then we have...

1 x family Christmas party with my in-laws
1 x Wiggles concert
1 x Carols by Candlelight outing
3 1/2 days of my day job
3 hours of Christmas shopping left to do and
Too many hours of Christmas cooking

Then, after what I hope to be a fun packed Christmas Day, I'm so glad that we're going straight into recovery mode and heading off to beautiful Port Stephens for a week. My Etsy store will shut down from Christmas Eve until 3 January 2010. http://www.pleaseeloise.com/ will remain open for purchases - any orders made between 25 December and 2 January will be posted on Monday 3 January 2010.

Allie's Attic on Saturday

I've just finished packing the FluffyButt tutus and getting my boxes of pretties organised for Allie's Attic at Paddington on Saturday. My lovely and invaluable friend Leah will be there with me and we're both looking forward to our favourite child free activities - gossiping, shopping and eating - perhaps we will get around to selling some lovely items as well! These felt flower hair clips were a big success at Mathilda's Market and I'll have many more at Allie's - for those of you who can't make it, they are also available for sale here. I'm off to bed now... I have to get my beauty sleep for tomorrows trip to David Jones with Eloise for her Santa photo.

Rudolph has arrived at www.pleaseeloise.com

This cute Rudolph felt hair clip has arrived just in time for Christmas at http://www.pleaseeloise.com/
I love these, and have put one aside for Eloise. I've ordered a super cute matching reindeer bodysuit from Sarah and can't wait to pick it up from her at Allie's Attic this weekend - you can drop by and see us both this Saturday at Paddington.
